Renown for his ability to talk about dancing, Mathew Heller’s pictorial homage to music launched his career, but his exploration of visual verse goes much deeper. His poetry pieces are graphically rhythmic with black letters peeking out from a white mist; they explore the depths of love, need and the bond of parent and child. Heller has exhibited at the Santa Monica Museum of Art and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art as well as by prominent galleries throughout Los Angeles. He has been collected by many influential celebrities.
